Don't forget to make some memories!

I AM With You

I AM With You

We cannot ignore this. Our children hear reports of terrorism and plagues repeated within their classrooms, locker rooms, football fields… Adults and children are sharing their fears. So here’s the plan, dear ones—press in, heart to heart—together, let’s pray,

Father God,

thank You for Your sacred Word that has faithfully prepared

every generation for the season in which

You designed each individual to live.

The issues we face today were addressed

from Moses to Matthew,

and Jesus on the Mount of Olives

to John as he penned the Revelation on the Isle of Patmos.

Your message is clear,

Father, thank You for gifting us with fiercely protective emotions

and a relentless love for our children and grandchildren.

We will not worry about what may happen

within the next five minutes, five days, or five years

for You are aware of everything we need.

And so we trust You with all our hearts

seeking first the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness,

resting in the faithful promise that everything we need

will be provided to us. (Matt. 6)

When tempted to fear, may we remember

that all things work together for good to those who love You

and are called according to Your purposes…

We are persuaded that neither death nor life,

nor angels nor principalities nor powers,

nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth,

nor any other created thing

will ever be able to separate us from the love of God

which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 8)

post 3 with grandma

We will impress Your Word and Your Will upon our children’s hearts

when we sit in our homes, when we walk along the road,

when we lie down, and when we rise up

so that they are not moved by false doctrines,

and have the power and authority to stand boldly

in every circumstance they may ever face.

When darkness presses in, we will shine ever brighter,

leading vast multitudes to You,

for this is the time to which You have appointed us. (Dan. 12)

As long as we have breath, we will be fruitful

advancing into all nations through prayer, technology, and travel,

baptizing in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

teaching all to observe what Christ commanded us

knowing that You are with us always

even to The End of the Age.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity,

and she laughs without fear of the future.”
